MELANIE BRANTON
She is an unexpected poetry slap. The kind that makes your face tingle and your eyebrows sky rocket. She is funny, clever, ironic, dry, gripping, needed and you won't see her coming until she is standing in your face." Liv Torc Melanie has qualified for three national slam finals and has two published collections, one with Oversteps, one with Burning Eye.

GG B DAN
aka Madam B is a one to watch.
An underground MC Vocalist based in North East with a dark & fresh flow. She is a live hostess known for her melodic grime and garage. GG has been allover the UK performing at festivals such as Willowman/ One Love/ Illusive festival and Lindisfarne, you may know her from supporting big acts such as Flowdan, Mr Traumatik and Ms Dynamite also going on tour with Mad Professor and Channel One Sound during their UK tour.

NICK CRANSTON
Since he started stand up in 2008, Nick Cranston has cemented himself as “one of the north east of England’s most promising comedians” (Gigglebeats). From his first gig in Newcastle, he very quickly found himself performing all over the country; impressing audiences with his sharply written comedy.

He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe five years running, as well performing at the Glasgow Comedy Festival.

Whether a quick one liner or amusing musings, Nick has the tales, wit and jokes to entertain any crowd

SARA ZAFAR
Her poetry focuses on the cultural struggles of women around the world and her own experiences of being a British South Asian woman. Sara aims to address the avoided and uncomfortable conversations of race and religion.

BOGSEY
Born Lippy Slam Winner. Amazing dry wit. Titillating tales of Bakewell Tarts and slow dancing on the 31 bus.
