ARCHIPELAGO PRESENTS : BETWEEN WAVES #1 – with ROSIE FRATER-TAYLOR

Rosie Frater-Taylor, multi-instrumentalist and aspiring songwriter and composer currently attends London’s Royal Academy of Music. Raised in a creative environment, Rosie has been writing and playing since a young age. She began her journey into jazz with Tomorrow’s Warriors and has since participated in composition/ performance workshops at the London Roundhouse as well as the highly acclaimed Junior Jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music.
Rosie has performed at popular London venues and worked with top artists including Jim Mullen, Steve Taylor and Ian Shaw. Several highlights of Rosie’s career to date include playing a set of originals at the esteemed Old Queen’s Head with her band and more recently, performing as one of the ‘Songwriting Circle’ alongside UK Eurovision representative SuRie.
Rosie currently plays with dynamic North London based duo Frater and Taylor, whilst forging ahead with her own band. She is constantly breaking and expanding her personal boundaries within her projects and is in the process of finishing her debut album 'On My Mind' an eclectic, genre-defying fusion of folk, pop and jazz. Due to be released in early September 2018.
